MCCAN HEALTH MANAGED MARKETS

SKILLS

Copywriting, Copy Editing, Digital Media, Branding

Having transitioned from being intern Copywriter at McCann Health New Jersey to an Associate Copywriter at McCann Health Managed Markets (MHMM), I was able to apply a lot of my newly-learned healthcare marketing experience into my new role.

Projects

COPYWRITING &
COPY EDITING

While starting out in a supportive capacity, assisting mid- and senior-level copywriters on my team, my quick learning and adaptations skills helped me became the main copy contact for any and all updates made to Genentech Forms and Guides across all brands. This included Consent Forms, Sample Coding Guides, and Dosing and Administration Guides.

I also assisted with the development of various product marketing materials such as patient brochures, guides, and websites.

ANNOTATIONS &
OPDP PREP

I also took a lead role in creating detailed annotation files for the launch of a new draxug brand called Lunsumio (mosunetuzumab-axgb).

These annotations were incredibly detailed and challenging, needing to highlight all major sources of information for each line of copy. These annotations were to be sent to the Office of Prescription Drug Promotions (OPDP) , who help ensure that all materials are truthful, balanced and accurate.

Being bilingual and a native Spanish speaker, I became a key participant in any and all Spanish translation jobs at MHMM. I was a direct liaison with the company’s translation partner, ensuring that every line of text was accurately translated while still maintaining patient friendliness.

One of my biggest projects was the major updates overhaul of the Genetech Access Solutions website and related materials for both patient-facing and health-care-provider- facing website versions in both English and Spanish.
