This multi-month project aimed to give exposure to travel advertising and design. We were tasked with selecting a location to represent as a client for a campaign that included the planning and construction of three main digital marketing elements: an interactive PDF, a website, and a mobile app prototype.

I chose to represent the Dominican Republic, specifically its Southwest region, for this campaign. Having been born and raised in this country, I wanted to take the opportunity to represent one of the most beautiful regions of the country and open it up to international tourists looking to diversify their Caribbean travel experience into a more dynamic, adventurous one.

I wanted this location to be perceived as a trendy and exciting area of adventure, for which I designed my deliverables to have a modern yet cheerful tone and look. I used various photographs that I have taken during my own travels, editing them to add texture and personality to each. I borrowed textual information from several tourism-centric website that depicted information about the Southwest Dominican Republic.

Sporting colorful objects and bright images, intermixed with a black and white overall theme, the final deliverables invite the user to discover the beauties and wonders of the Southwest Dominican Republic.
